PINK’s programme takes two forms: Hosted by PINK and Presented by PINK. Each reflects a different relationship between PINK, the people we work with and the activity taking place in our spaces.

HOSTED BY PINK

Hosted by PINK is our open, request-based space-hire programme. Artists, groups and organisations use our spaces to deliver their own exhibitions, events, workshops and projects. You bring the idea and lead the activity; we provide the space and any facilities agreed as part of your booking.

Income from our hosted events helps us maintain our spaces, support artists and deliver our wider programme. It also keeps PINK available to the wider creative community.

PRESENTED BY PINK

Presented by PINK is our in-house curatorial programme of exhibitions, residencies and artist development projects. We initiate and develop this work with artists, often through relationships that begin years before a project becomes public.

​

Our approach is based on critical friendship: trust, honest dialogue, care and practical support. We work alongside artists through research, funding applications, planning, production and changes in direction, giving each project the time and conditions it needs to develop.

​

Presented activity takes place when we have the funding and resources to pay artists and support the work properly. We do not programme simply to fill the calendar. We develop projects when PINK and the artist are ready to carry them through.
