Opening Times

PINK doesn't keep fixed opening hours, when we're open, it's because something is happening. Check our What's On page for current exhibitions, events, and activities, and individual listings for specific times. One day we'd love to have the doors open every day. We're working on it.

Accessibility

We're committed to making PINK a welcoming and accessible space for everyone. The building has step-free access from street level throughout the ground floor, and a lift provides access to the second floor. All toilets on site are gender neutral, with a wheelchair-accessible toilet available. Seating is provided throughout the exhibition and event spaces. All exhibitions are accompanied by large-print texts and an audio version of the press release, so there are multiple ways to engage with the work on display. Sensory bags with items related to PINK's exhibition are also available for visitors who prefer a tactile experience. If you have any questions, specific access requirements, or would like to discuss your visit in advance, get in touch at pinkmanchester@gmail.com — we're always happy to help.

Getting to PINK

We're based at Hilton House, a 1960s office block on Lord Street in Stockport town centre. SK1 3NA will bring you straight to us. By Train The quickest option. Trains run regularly from Manchester Piccadilly to Stockport Station — the journey takes around 7–10 minutes. From the station, it's a 10-minute walk downhill along Wellington Road South, then onto Lord Street. By Bus Frequent buses run from Manchester city centre to Stockport, including the 192 along the A6. Get off at Stockport town centre or Merseyway — we're a 10-minute walk from the bus interchange. By Bike Use the TfGM Journey Planner for routes. Bike stands are available outside 63 St Petersgate, SK1 1DH, and secure cycle parking is available at the NCP cycle hub at Stockport train station. By Car Stockport is around 20–30 minutes from central Manchester via the A6. On-site parking at Hilton House is operated by Europarks and is paid parking via mobile or online payment. Additional options including NCP, Europarks, and on-street parking are all within a 5–10 minute walk.
