After Hours brings live music and DJs into Caz Egelie’s site-specific exhibition My Hat and My Other Hat, transforming the gallery into a late-night performance space as part of Sidelines Festival.

Developed through Egelie’s international residency at PINK, My Hat and My Other Hat draws on Stockport’s hatmaking history through archival research, role-play, and acts of re-fashioning — exploring disguise, shifting identity, and the tension between self and character. The second-floor gallery becomes a medieval-inspired tavern disguised as a costume store, storage space, or theatrical stage, where the boundary between performer and audience never fully settles.

For one night only, this environment activates through sound and movement. Live sets from EYVE and Dr Mystery sit alongside DJ sets from Menu Menu and Atalaya, bringing experimental sound and club energy into the exhibition and inviting audiences to inhabit the work collectively.
