AN INTRODUCTION TO OFF_CENTRE
PINK is an independent arts organisation based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. We believe art is a vital tool for making sense of the world, and that artists and their practices deserve to be valued, supported, and given the space to make a real difference. We exist to make that possible: by providing artists with the time, space, and resources to make their most ambitious work, and by opening our doors to the widest possible community of artists, creatives, and audiences.

Our programme spans exhibitions, residencies, and events, bringing together artists, thinkers, writers, and researchers across disciplines. We work locally, nationally, and internationally, with active partnerships in Denmark and Norway and a regular programme of cross-border collaboration. Alongside our in-house curatorial work, we operate an open-source model of space hire that makes our building accessible to the wider creative community. Our studios are home to more than thirty artists, and our events space has hosted everything from film screenings and performances to workshops and community gatherings.

We are experimental in how we think, ambitious in what we do, and committed to building an organisation that is genuinely built to last.
