Accessibility
 

We’re committed to making PINK a welcoming and accessible space for everyone.

- Step-free access is available from street level into the building and throughout the ground floor.
- A lift provides access to the second floor.
- We have a wheelchair-accessible toilet on site, and all toilets are gender neutral.
- Seating is available throughout the exhibition and event spaces.

- We provide large-print exhibition texts and an audio version of the press release, ensuring multiple modes of engagement with the work     on display.

Getting to PINK
 

We are located within Hilton House a 1960s office block on Lord Street in Stockport town centre.

From Manchester City Centre

​

By train (fastest option)

  • Trains run regularly from Manchester Piccadilly → Stockport Station (approx. 7–10 minutes).

  • Exit Stockport Station via the main entrance.

  • Walk 10–minutes downhill towards the town centre via Wellington Road South.

  • Turn onto Lord Street — Hilton House is located a short walk along the road.
     

By bus

  • Frequent buses run from Manchester city centre to Stockport (including routes along the A6 corridor) - we suggest the 192.

  • Get off near Stockport town centre / Merseyway.

  • PINK is a 10-minute walk from the Stockport bus interchange.
     

By bike

  • There are 2 bike parking stands located in front of 63 St Petersgate, Stockport SK1 1DH.

  • Secure bike parking is available at NCP's cycle hub at Stockport Train Station which is , more information can be found here.
     

By car

  • Stockport is approx. 20–30 minutes from central Manchester depending on traffic via the A6.
